What is a Discovery Flight?
Your Introduction to the Flight Deck
Hands-On Experience: This is not a sightseeing tour—it’s a flight lesson. After reaching a safe altitude, your instructor will hand you the controls. You will be the one flying the airplane, performing basic maneuvers like turns, climbs, and descents.
Pre-Flight Briefing: Your journey begins on the ground. We will walk you through the aircraft’s systems, safety procedures, and the “pre-flight inspection” to ensure the plane is airworthy.
Official Logbook Entry: This flight counts! You will receive your first official entry in a Pilot Logbook. If you decide to pursue your license, this hour is already credited toward your FAA requirements.
