From a Dream in Colombia to the Skies of Miami

My journey began at the age of 10. That first time I looked up and flew, I knew the cockpit was where I belonged. By 15, after experiencing the raw thrill of flight in an ultralight aircraft, my destiny was sealed. I didn’t just want to fly; I wanted to master the art of aviation.

Coming from a small region in Colombia, the path to becoming a pilot wasn’t easy. Financial challenges were always present, but my passion was stronger than any obstacle. In 2016, I began my formal aviation studies in Colombia, and by 2017, I moved to the United States to master English—a crucial tool for any international pilot. In 2018, I started my professional flight training in Miami, where I have built my entire career and expertise within the U.S. National Airspace System.

Since 2022, I have served as a Flight Instructor, gaining invaluable experience at two of the largest aviation academies in the country. However, I realized that my true calling was to provide a more personalized, calm, and mentorship-focused environment. Today, as an independent instructor at Miami Executive Airport (KTMB), I founded Camino Aereo to offer exactly that.

I don’t just teach maneuvers; I share a journey. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the “click” in a student’s eyes when they master a difficult concept or experience their first solo. My mission is to guide you through the same path I traveled, with the precision of a professional and the patience of a true mentor.
